Bohol Adventure

I have to agree that Bohol is one of the many beautiful island-provinces in the Philippines. There are many things it is known for, from the Chocolate Hills and Tarsier—the world’s smallest primate—to the centuries-old, coral-stone church in Baclayon down to the majestic Hinagdanan cave.  Bilar Manmade Forest is astonishing, too.

We departed the Cebu Port around 6:15 am and arrived after an hour. Paglabas namin ng Tagbilaran Port, hinanap namin kagad ung name ko dun sa mga plakards na bitbit ng mga tour guides (ako pala ung ginamit na contact name ni Cariza, haha loka loka ka ateng).

Cariza researched a lot for this adventure. She contacted our “would be” tour guide, Kuya Tatsky for this trip (courtesy of PEX). Highly recommended sya ng mga travellers na nagpo-post sa Pex kaya sya ang kinontak namin. He’s offering 2,000 pesos inclusive of the car/gas/driver.

Taralets!

As we tour, narealized kong worth the pay lahat kasi magkakalayo talaga ang tourist spots. Plus the fact na sobrang init during that time, as in tirik talaga ang araw.

Ok. Let’s start the Bohol Adventure!

Iskeyri!

Wasn’t able to see Prony the Python pero dito kame tinour ni Kuya. First time I ever saw a huge snake. Largest snake to date. Nothing special on this place, actually. Quite boring, to be honest

World’s smallest primate, the Tarsier.

Tarsier Sanctuary in Corella.

The famous Chocolate Hills of Bohol

Ofcourse, our adventure wont be completed kung hindi namin mapupuntahan ang famous Chocolate Hills. Ito ang may pinakamalayong journey. Sabi ni Kuya its located at the very center of Bohol so meaning, nasa gitna na kame ng Bohol.

Man made forest

Located in Bilar. Madadaanan to sa ayaw at sa gusto mo. These are mahagony trees. Ang dami. Naging very photogenic ang high way because of these trees.

Hanging Bridge. Literal na nakakapagod. At the end of the bridge, there are a lot of souvenir stalls were you can buy your pasalubongs. Dito kame bumili ng keychains at ref magnets. 7pcs (mixed) for 100 pesos. I made tawad pa nga, sabi ko “sa bora 8 for 100 ito”Lol.

Loboc River Cruise with Buffet Lunch.

Palengke sa dami ng tao. Infairness naman, masarap ang mga pagkain (no wonder dinadayo sya ng mga turista, locals man or foreigners). Never miss this cruise, indeed a very great experience.

Baclayon Church

6 kilometers from Tagbilaran City. When you say Bohol the first thing that comes into my mind is, well of course the Chocolate Hills but one more thing that makes me want to go to Bohol is the Baclayon Church.

We missed going to Hinagdanan cave and Bohol bee farm. I don’t know but feeling namin ang tamad ng tour guide namin. Tsssk. I’ll make sure to let Kuya Tatsky know this feedback! Hehe 🙂
